Internships in Special Collections and University Archives

There are opportunities for UMW students to intern in Simpson Library’s Special Collections and University Archives.

Junior and senior students with research and writing skills and a focus in American Studies, Anthropology, Art History, Digital Studies, History, Historic Preservation, or Museum Studies may apply for one-semester internships. While interning, students will have the opportunity to build exhibits, conduct research and archival work, create digital projects, and undertake other special initiatives within the department.
