Zotero (pronounced "zoh-TAIR-oh") is free software that helps you cite your sources. With Zotero, you can...

  • Save sources to a personal library.
  • Organize your sources into collections for different projects.
  • Automatically generate bibliographies in any style, including APA, MLA, or Chicago/Turabian.

Installing Zotero

Button with the words Get ZoteroZotero is free. It runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux. It's compatible with Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

You'll need to do two things:

  1. Download the Zotero app
  2. Install the Zotero connector for your browser.

Both can be downloaded if you click the "Get Zotero" logo.
