Newspaper articles
What they are: Articles in newspapers, either in print or online. Newspapers are periodicals that report the news.
What they give you: Information on events at the time the article was published.
How to spot them:
- There are two titles: the title of the article and the title of the newspaper.
- There may be pictures.
- There are no citations.
- The article is written in an impersonal, "just-the-facts" tone. Or, the article is labeled as an editorial or opinion piece.

By default, the search results do not include newspaper articles, but you can click "Newspapers search" to search newspaper articles.
