Important Information on ebook Protection

You should know that some of our ebooks are protected by digital rights management (DRM). This protection is used to control access to ebooks, such as limiting how many pages can be copied or printed, or how long an ebook can be "checked out." Adobe Digital Editions is the software that is often used for DRM. Read more about Adobe Digital Editions in the Downloading Ebooks to Different Devices section.

Reading Ebooks Online

Many ebooks can be read online using a browser, though this can depend on which database you are using. If you are using a database that allows you to read the ebook in your browser, there should be a link that says "Read Online" or "Start Reading." Clicking this should take you to a PDF page for you to read the ebook.  You may also be able to download ebooks for offline reading.
